The sport of golf can play a specific role for sick and physically impaired children. Often, these children can only improve their condition through laborious and painful therapies within the sterile atmosphere of rehabilitation centers. By playing golf, however, they utilize therapeutical exercise in a playful manner, and thus, almost unconsciously, train their limbs with sequences of movements which under normal conditions cost them a lot of strength and self-discipline. The repetitious and dull exercises of physiotherapy are effortlessly turned into playful activity. This is the concept of KidSwing.

Dennis was one of the first children to be involved in the concept of golf as a therapy, training with Anthony Netto since the first prototype of the Paragolfer was built in 2001. Since then, Dennis has developed into a good player using his golf training with the Paragolfer. He now plays in tournaments for the handicapped, as well as mixed tournaments and the Charity Tour for KidSwing. He is a living example of the success and effectiveness of the KidSwing program.
