KidSwing International – a cooperation platform with partner projects abroad
Exchange of experiences between partner projects in other countries is one big part of the work we do. We are looking around finding sport programs for handicapped in several countries. Getting in contact and find out about the different helping aids and possible forms of training methods in the field of golf is the first step. Keeping in contact and forming partnership activities is the second step.
The important chance we promote is not just the sports training program for sick and physically challenged young golfer – but the possibility to create an integrative character to get not handicapped children together with our participants. To arrange competitions and weekly training sessions for handicapped and not handicapped together – this is a very important issue of our program.
2. Example : in Dallas, Texas, USA we have since 2007 a cooperation with the “Learn to Golf” program for patients from the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. 3. Example : With the Spanish organization FEGE (Federacion Espanola de Golf Especial) we have a cooperation since 2007, had a booth together at the Madrid Golf Show and we will have a Summer Golf Camp with children from Spain and Germany in 2008. 4. Example : we start a cooperation with the not-for-profit organization NORTHCOTT in Sydney, Australia in 2008 with the disability service program.
